Other considerations and costs

Hardware costs are minimal. Staples or nails will cost around $20 for the entire project, depending on the type and quality that you choose. Some fence installers will include basic hardware like nails and staples and only charge for larger hardware or specialty items, like hinges or latches for your fence gate.
You can turn your wire fence into an electric fence, which will add about $1,000 to the project for electric fencing, insulators, grounding rods, and other necessary parts and equipment.
